Kate Stroud head of people & culture

The good news keeps on coming here at the lorries. After starting the year with several new client wins – including conversational experience platform provider Simplr and video communication platform Loom –  we’re excited to announce that Kate Stroud has joined as our new head of people & culture.

With more than 13 years of HR experience, Kate is passionate about working with senior management to create and implement employee-led people strategies that foster a fun and high-performing work environment. She has previously helped to build world-class employee experiences at a number of global, European and UK companies in the digital and creative industries. These include the likes of Squint Opera, 23Red and VML.

Sitting alongside our head of resources, Leah Coglin, Kate will lead everything we do in supporting our people and making the lorries a great place to work. Her initial focus will be on developing our employer brand and driving our recruitment efforts as we continue to grow. She will also enhance our learning and development programme to help our people progress their careers.

“I’m really excited to be joining a new industry and learning about b2b tech PR, as well as helping to develop the people and culture side of the lorries’ business,” said Kate. “The team has done a great job of creating a unique culture and my mission will be to ensure that every single lorry gets the support they need as we continue to grow.”

Our CEO Guy Walsingham added: “We’ve always been about people. That’s why the right people stay with us long-term – they know they’ll get the freedom to be themselves and learn new skills. Maintaining the right culture can be difficult for any company growing as quickly as we are. But, with Kate leading the charge, we’re confident that we’ll be able to keep attracting the best PR talent around.”
