Loom, the video communication platform for async work, has selected the lorries to drive its media relations activity in the UK. The lorries will develop and implement a campaign to raise awareness of Loom in the UK’s technology, business and enterprise markets.

Run from the agency’s London office, the PR campaign will focus on positioning Loom as a key driver behind the modern work revolution – which is continuing to gather pace – as well as educating the UK market on the topic of asynchronous video. The lorries will work with Loom’s key stakeholders to develop an opinionated voice on key market issues, generating media attention through a combination of business-focused thought leadership content, short-form industry commentary and customer stories.

The team will also drive industry recognition by identifying local speaking opportunities, award programmes and associations for Loom to collaborate with in order to establish the company as an innovative industry leader.

“We’ve got big ambitions at Loom, with a mission to empower everyone at work to communicate more effectively,” said Rebecca Kline, SVP of marketing at Loom. “As this is our first PR programme in the UK, we needed a partner with the expertise and relationships to help us break through with local media. We’re confident this is exactly what the lorries will provide. The team has already demonstrated a strategic understanding of our business, so we’re looking forward to working together to drive Loom’s UK growth.”

“Video plays an important part in modern business, with the ability to connect people working remotely and asynchronously,” said the lorries’ M&E practice lead Martin Izzard. “We’re really excited about working with Loom to spread the word about how it’s changing businesses and empowering a new level of internal communication.”

This partnership marks the latest win for the lorries after recently adding CGI studio Red Raion and self-serve advertising software provider DanAds to its growing client roster. The agency has also opened a new office in Austin, Texas, to strengthen its North American presence and better support its local enterprise IT clients.
