The lorries win Gold at the 2020 PR World Awards

Our crisis response work with media & entertainment leader Avid is on a roll at this year’s industry awards, as we’ve officially been named a Gold winner at the 2020 PR World Awards in the Crisis & Reputation Management category.

This follows on from our recent win at The Drum 2020 PR Awards and earlier wins this year at the PR Club’s 15th Bell Ringer Awards and 18th Annual American Business Awards.

In September 2019, our brilliant M&E team sprang into action when Avid found itself at the centre of a potentially damaging media storm that put its reputation, industry relationships and stock value at risk. Deploying a proactive media relations strategy focused on transparency and communication across regions, our team successfully turned a potential Hollywood disaster into a PR win.

The PR World Awards recognise in-house and agency achievements in a wide range of areas including advertising, marketing, public relations, social media and corporate communications. All the winners will be presented their awards during a virtual awards ceremony in December.
