We’re delighted to announce that we’ve promoted Sarah Alonze to global strategy director

In this newly created position, Sarah will drive the strategic planning behind campaigns – particularly for our growing roster of large, multinational b2b tech clients. She’ll work closely with our sector-specialist PR account teams and digital marketing, content and design experts to spark creative ideas and craft integrated global campaigns that blend consistency with localisation.

Formerly our UK head of enterprise IT, Sarah boasts over 12 years of tech PR experience – helping to give brands a unique voice and support tangible business growth. She’s worked with ambitious start-ups, scale-ups and established multinational corporations across cybersecurity, fintech, enterprise IT, telecommunications, blockchain and more.

Lorry CEO Guy Walsingham said:

“As our global footprint continues to grow, it’s important that we allocate the right people and resources to support ambitious, integrated client campaigns. I can’t think of a person who understands the crucial role of outcome-focused, strategic communications better than Sarah. She’s well-versed in PR, content strategy, digital and other marketing disciplines – making her perfectly suited to this new role.”

Sarah added:

“I’ve been hugely impressed with the lorries since joining the fleet back in June 2021. The agency is full of sharp, ambitious minds and we’re already a force to be reckoned with on the global stage. As b2b tech brands move from one period of uncertainty to another and priorities change, it’s important to have a partner that can be a strategic North Star, pushing the envelope in terms of outcomes and output. I’m looking forward to partnering with our incredible clients on integrated, thoughtful, and measurable campaigns that pack a punch.”

Sarah’s appointment follows hot on the heels of our new head of people and culture and US enterprise IT practice lead – and forms a key pillar of our current global growth drive.
