OneSpan: The rebirth of a SaaS provider

The challenge 

The lorries were tasked with repositioning OneSpan as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company and moving it away from its legacy reputation as a hardware provider. This was supplemented by three other key objectives:  

  1. Position OneSpan as the leading provider of security and anti-fraud solutions for banks and financial institutions. 
  2. Shine a spotlight on the human impact of security failings in financial services e.g. breaches and fraud. 
  3. Increase social media presence across the core channels of Twitter and LinkedIn.

With thought leadership, news and rapid response coverage across the target verticals including 15 bylines, 38 comments and 25 news stories, we ensured OneSpan had a consistent voice in industry conversations.  

56% top-tier coverage

More than half of coverage was featured in tier one technology, finance and security publications, including SC Magazine, Fintech Futures, Computer Weekly and TechRadar. 

73% comment success rate

Our proactive newsjacking program resulted in a high comment success rate on key topics like mobile security, fraud and authentication. This positioned OneSpan as a go-to source for journalists requiring insight into breaking news topics. 

Generated 10,985 engagements

We revamped OneSpan’s LinkedIn and Twitter content strategy, significantly boosting engagement through a combination of video and educational content.
