Extreme Networks: Kicking off a winning brand awareness campaign

The challenge

Extreme Networks equips large stadiums and enterprises with cutting-edge Wi-Fi 6 technology to ensure a seamless browsing experience for all users. Starting as a U.S. company, the Extreme Networks team wanted to demonstrate its global expertise and independent UK presence.

Secondary objectives included positioning Extreme as the leader in building UK sports networks and promoting its partner program.

Secured 121 pieces of coverage in a year

Landed coverage in target trade and tier one publications, including 10 pieces alone in top tier trade Computer Weekly.

High domain authority for 50% of coverage

Half of coverage had a domain authority of 50 or more. This tied into Extreme’s business target of reaching the most influential media and building valuable backlinks to its site.

53 pieces of sports coverage in 18 months

Sports is a key focus area for Extreme. One-third of all first-year coverage was sports-related, with multiple editors returning to source Extreme news and opinions.

Boosted reputation and credibility

Secured 17 pieces of coverage for the EMEA CTO through thought leadership, interviews, and proactive commentary, raising his profile as a go-to networking specialist and boosting credibility in EMEA.

This is my third time hiring the lorries as our UK PR partner. They are among the very best that I have worked with in my 25+ year career. They make sure to understand the business and the market, apply a thoughtful, strategic and results-driven approach to elevating brand awareness. They delivered more value/results in the first three months of our engagement than our previous agency did over the course of a year. They are responsive and curious, and the team is highly motivated and professional.
