Sarah Alonze enterprise IT

We’re thrilled to announce that Sarah Alonze has joined the lorries in the newly created role of head of enterprise IT. Sarah will sit alongside  fellow practice lead Martin Izzard, who re-joined the agency earlier this year as head of media and entertainment. Both practice lead roles have been created to support the lorries’ expanding client portfolio and bold growth ambitions for the rest of 2021 and beyond.

Sarah will focus on offering strategic counsel to the lorries’ existing enterprise IT clients, covering data storage, cyber security, blockchain and more. She will also spearhead the growth of the agency’s enterprise IT portfolio.

With 12 years of b2b technology PR experience, Sarah has previously worked for a number of London-based PR agencies, helping to build and maintain corporate reputations for start-ups, challenger brands and blue-chip corporations. Her previous clients include the likes of SAS, McAfee, Orange Cyberdefense and Tenable.

She prides herself on offering clients creative thinking, honest opinion and strategic perspective. Plus, with French, Spanish and Italian language skills, she’s well-placed to support the lorries’ growing global team.

Sarah said: “Despite the PR industry taking a hit during the pandemic, the lorries have been remarkably resilient. We’re now entering an exciting period of growth as the IT sector continues to bounce back after a tough period. I’ve already been so impressed by the calibre of work the team is producing and I look forward to helping our existing clients tell compelling and original stories, as well as bringing new partners on board. As an agency, we’re well placed to support those businesses that are ready to capitalise on new market opportunities post-Covid-19.”

Our CEO Guy Walsingham added: “We’re seeing growth far exceeding pre-pandemic levels – especially in the enterprise IT space – so it’s the perfect time for Sarah to join us in this new role. We have no doubt that clients will benefit from her no-nonsense approach and years of tech PR experience.”
