Here’s our privacy policy. We’ve provided information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure. We don’t sell or rent your data to other companies for marketing purposes and we do all we can to keep it safe.

Types of information we collect

Cookies on our website

Cookies are information packets sent by web servers to web browsers and stored by the browsers. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables a web server to identify and track browsers.

There are two main kinds of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are deleted from your computer when you close your browser. Persistent cookies – like ads – remain stored on your computer until deleted, or until they reach their expiry date. In most cases, our expiry date is 50 days after you visit a lorry website.

rlyl.com uses Google Analytics cookies to analyse the use of our website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use through cookies stored on users’ computers. The information generated about our website is used to create reports about the use of our site. Google will store and use this information. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy/update.

We also use cookies to deliver relevant content, including adverts on third-party sites, often through the Google Display Network, Twitter and LinkedIn. We also use services like Hotjar to improve user experience of website visitors.

To opt out of these go to http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices and choose the providers you no longer want to collect and use your information.

Wifi

If you pop into a lorry office and log on to our wifi, we have the ability to collect data on your device, the volume of usage, the websites and applications you access and when and where you access these from. This data is not monitored or collected.

Emails

We regularly contact clients, influencers and prospects as part of running a communications business. From time to time we contact people via an e-newsletter or for new business. That means we do collect personal information. We use that information for a few reasons:
– to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about
– to contact you if we need to obtain or provide information on behalf our PR clients
– to check our records are right
– to check every now and then that you’re satisfied.

We don’t trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

Third-party providers

We use some third-party provider tools to manage our communications:

You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at hello@rlyl.com

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, change or delete the personal information that we or our providers hold on you. Email your request to our data protection officer, Hanisha Vaja, at hanishav@rlyl.com.

Keeping your data safe

We do everything we can to keep any data we hold on you safe. Our server is monitored and managed by our IT partner, Optimal Tools.

What’s next?

Our policy is regularly reviewed to make sure it stays up to date. If you have any further questions, contact us at hello@rlyl.com.
