Overview

Breaking through the blockchain noise

Blockchain Intelligence Group builds technology to power compliance and intelligence for the blockchain-centric future. The company is trusted globally by banks, crypto companies, law enforcement, fintechs, regtechs and governments.

Despite a wealth of data and industry knowledge, Blockchain Intelligence Group was struggling to gain media awareness and visibility among competitors. Its leadership team wanted to be seen as authoritative experts on trending topics relevant to the company’s business model and value propositions.

Getting heard

Blockchain Intelligence Group’s share of voice was 0% before we started working together. In the PR campaign’s first month, its SOV increased to 12%, and to 75% by the campaign’s fourth month – a 625% increase.

Raising the voice

Developed a successful rapid response programme, securing multiple briefings with publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Protocol, ZDNet, Blockworks, The Street, Mergermarket, and more.

Engaging the media

We secured 23 pieces of coverage within in top business press and trade press just four months, including Yahoo, Protocol, ZDNet and Blockworks.

Leading conversations

Established a broad thought leadership programme resulting in byline opportunities with InformationWeek, PaymentsJournal, Tech Bullion, Banking Exchange and more.

We were tasked with raising awareness of Blockchain Intelligence Group as the global leader for blockchain technology that understands complex regulatory and investigative challenges around cryptocurrencies.

First, we rolled out an extensive thought leadership and brand awareness campaign to elevate Blockchain Intelligence Group’s thought leaders. We then closely monitored news trends and developments, acting quickly to target media and offer Blockchain Intelligence Group as an expert source for any appropriate comment opportunities. We also leveraged inside knowledge of crypto vulnerabilities and breaches provided by Blockchain Intelligence Group, to pitch and obtain media briefings, resulting in breaking news and feature coverage.

This all led to regular coverage around a wide variety of topics such as government legislation, high-profile hacks, and research reports analysing the future of the industry.

Next, we built the profiles of company executives through a combination of media briefings and rapid response opportunities in top-tier business, tech, and crypto press. This established key media relationships and helped us get Blockchain Intelligence Group’s name out into the industry.

Finally, we amplified all coverage on social platforms through a comprehensive social media programme. We drafted and published posts for Blockchain Intelligence Group’s LinkedIn and Twitter feeds, as well as designing a mix of dynamic and static graphics for high-value posts.

Looking for an agency adept at the intersection of technology, business and regulation such as with cryptocurrency, there was no competition. The lorries were really the only choice because they demonstrated a strategic understanding of our business and industry.
