May’s EU nationals pledge – why we’re not ‘breathing a sigh of relief’

On Friday last week, we ‘celebrated’ Brexit’s one year anniversary.

It’s been a challenging year for politics worldwide and Brexit dominated the news agenda.

As talks in Brussels over the UK’s exit deal kicked off Thursday last week, PM Theresa May’s pledged that EU citizens should be able to remain in the UK after the country leaves the Union.

So after reading the news on Friday morning, and inspired by PRCA’s take published on PR Week http://www.prweek.com/article/1437482/industry-will-breathe-massive-sigh-relief-mays-eu-nationals-pledge , I felt like it was a good time to speak out as a European citizen living in the UK and working in UK’s PR industry.
